Rick and I will be featured on Bravo TV's show Roots, Rhythm & Soul which was produced by Mako Funasaka of Talkin' Blues on Friday, June 13th at 7:00pm (EST). Please tune in if you're able! Further details are listed on the shows page.
Rick and I will be heading off to do a couple shows in St. Johns Newfoundland - it's the first trip to the Rock for the both of us and we're very excited! A great big shout-out to Terry Parsons for putting the mini-tour together for us. Details are listed on the shows page.

INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING CONTEST (ISC)
Some more great news! Rick and I have made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Contest (ISC) with 2 of our songs in 2 categories! "We Got A Love Like That" has made it to the semi-finals in the Performance Category and "How'd You Know I Missed You" has made it to the semi-finals in the Blues Category. The Finalists will be posted to the ISC Website on February 1, and winners will be announced in March 2007, as soon as the judging process is complete.

Winner of 3 - 2006 Canadian Mapleblues Awards !!!

Vinnick victorious in Maple Blues Awards
Saskatoon-born Suzie Vinnick heads the list of winners of this year’s Maple Blues Awards, handed out last night by the Toronto Blues Society. She was named top Female Vocalist and Bass Player and shares Songwriter of the Year with Rick Fines for their 2006 release, Nothing Halfway.

MAPLEBLUES AWARDS!!
Today the Mapleblues
Awards nominees were announced - Rick and Suzie are proud to say
they've been nominated for 4 awards between the two of them!!
Rick and Suzie were nominated for Acoustic Act of the Year, and SOCAN Songwriter of the Year. Suzie was also nominated as Bassist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Voting begins on Nov. 13, 2006 and ends on Dec. 16, 2006.
